It is off until you turn it on. While it is on, anybody with the link can enter without signing in.
Turning it on
The Public entry card. Set when entry opens and when it closes, optionally a cap on how many the form will take, then Save.
There is a box for terms, shown on the form. Optional.
What an entrant can see
This event, its races and its categories. Never who else is entered.
Closing it
Close entry, or let the closing date pass.
Clearing the opening date shuts it completely — the form then cannot read this event at all, rather than reading it and declining to list it.
What it costs is set somewhere else
Under Prices, per race. This panel only decides when the form is open and how many it will take. See Prices and getting paid.
A club that opens entries for a priced race with no way to be paid has a form that takes entries nobody can pay for, and finds out from an entrant. Check both before you publish the link.
Somebody wants to change their entry
Entrants can look their own entry up and correct their details without signing in. They need their surname and the reference they were given when they entered.
Entries taken at the desk
Online entry and desk entry are not exclusive. Add people directly on Race setup at any time. See Entrants, numbers and chips.
