Nine questions about your event. At the end you get the system we would put on it, the quantities, and what it costs — before you have spoken to anybody.
Question 1 of 9
This decides how fast the reads have to be, and whether the chip goes in a bib, on an ankle or on a bike.
The biggest single driver of what this costs. If your events vary a lot, use your largest.
This is what decides whether disposable chips or reusable transponders are the cheaper answer over a season.
This is the question that decides your whole system. An active transponder is bought once and lasts six years — but only if it comes back. An open field walks away with them, so the sum never works however many events you run.
Count every time you want a time off a competitor: the finish, the start if it is not a gun start, and every split in between. We will work out how many boxes that takes — on a course that comes back past the same place, it is fewer than you might think.
If you do not know, leave it — we have filled in what your sport and field size normally need. If you know your finish line, type over it.
Plenty of timers buy their chips elsewhere and that is entirely fine — the boxes read any compliant chip from any supplier. If you would rather they turned up already printed with your race numbers on them, we do that too.
Only applies if you end up on a passive chip system — if the answers point to active transponders, this question drops out of the quote.
Our hardware works with all of it. This only changes what we quote, not what the boxes do.
Tick what you need. Leave it all unticked if you just want the timing.
No explanations. Fill in what you know, leave the rest, and we will size and price it. If a field is blank we will work it out from the others.

These are the numbers this quote is built on. Change any of them and it re-prices as you type.

Send this draft to Perth and we will check the sizing against what you have actually described, and come back with a firm price. No obligation, and we will not put you on a list.
